The CEO of OpenAI (creator of ChatGPT) was fired

Last night, OpenAI announced the sudden dismissal of Sam Altman, the company’s CEO, by publishing a statement. In the same statement, the resignation of Greg Brockman, another founder of OpenAI, from the post of chairman of the board of directors is also mentioned, but in another part of it, it is stated that he will remain in the company. However, Mr. Brockman released a statement hours ago announcing his full resignation from the company and announcing that he and Sam Altman had been abruptly fired.

Such actions are considered a big shock to the world of artificial intelligence because Sam Altman has been known as the main face of the famous company OpenAI for years. Last week, this company unveiled several new features of ChatGPT and it is undoubtedly the leader of this competition. Microsoft, which has invested billions of dollars in OpenAI, announced in a statement that it will continue to work with the company.

Sam Altman is one of the founders of OpenAI, who was initially the co-chairman of the company’s board with Elon Musk, but Elon Musk left OpenAI in 2018 to focus more on Tesla.
