Coinciding with the World Philosophy Day, the series of artificial intelligence philosophy meetings will begin with the support of the Headquarters for the Development of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies.
According to the communication and information center of the vice president’s science, technology and knowledge-based economy, the series of artificial intelligence philosophy meetings started on November 23 of this month and will continue until March 5 of this year. The topics discussed in this event are as follows:
- The nature and history of artificial intelligence
- Theories of consciousness in artificial intelligence
- The problem of framework from artificial intelligence to philosophy
- Artificial intelligence and existential risk
- The future of artificial intelligence
This series of meetings, which has been planned by the faculties of Farabi Campus of Tehran University and with the support of the Development Headquarters of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies, will begin on Tuesday, November 23, coinciding with the International Day of Philosophy.
In the series of “Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence” meetings, professors from different universities will present discussions. Students and interested parties can participate in this event in a combined way (in person and virtual).
