Alibaba recently tested new artificial intelligence tools internationally to help online sellers optimize their performance. Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group announced on Monday, November 6, 2023 that it is implementing Aidge as the first artificial intelligence tool used in its business. This tool is designed with the aim of helping online sellers to introduce and promote their products in global markets and is able to identify and recommend appropriate marketing and sales patterns by analyzing customer behavioral data.
Aidge helps sellers attract more customers with targeted advertising. This tool can analyze various data such as user searches, page visits, and customer feedback and help optimize online store pages based on it. It is also able to provide recommendations for product design, targeted marketing, and service improvement.
According to Alibaba reports, using Aidge has resulted in a 14% increase in visitor conversions and a 100% increase in ad clicks. Also, sellers have expressed their satisfaction with improving their performance and increasing their sales by using this artificial intelligence tool.
In this test, Alibaba tests more than 15 APIs. Daraz, the leading e-commerce platform in Pakistan, is also participating in this experiment.
Application programming interfaces in this test include the following areas:
- Consumer insight or customer insight(1): Analysis of customer feedback.
- Content localization(2): localization of product content that covers both text and images.
- customer services(3): such as multilingual live chat, shopping assistant chatbot and customer service.
- Designing: ready-made templates used for creative content marketing and product presentation at various exhibitions.
- Marketing: Automatic optimization of search engines and production of advertisements.
Alibaba plans to roll out Aidge internationally to make e-commerce smarter with AI capabilities. It is expected that tools like Aidge can help the growth and development of e-commerce and improve the performance of online sellers in the international arena.
