Firefly Image 2 artificial intelligence for Photoshop was introduced

Adobe, the maker of Photoshop, like many other companies, is focused on artificial intelligence and has now unveiled three new generative AI models for Photoshop, Adobe Express and Illustrator. But the most important and attractive new model of Adobe is the artificial intelligence of Firefly Image 2, which has a much higher quality than before.

According to Adobe, Firefly Image 2’s AI can produce much higher quality images than its predecessor. This model performs much better in some areas such as details of hair, hands, skin texture and facial features, and can create much more realistic human images. The images made with this new model have higher resolution and brighter colors.

As you can see in the image below, Adobe’s new AI model produced a much more realistic and high-quality image with the same prompt (right photo). Adobe Firefly Image 2 also provides users with editing tools to customize the final result.

You can also adjust photo settings automatically or manually, which include things like depth of field, blur, or field of view; Just like manual camera settings.

Adobe has also provided a prompt writing guide for users, through which users can write better commands to create images. The guide can also auto-complete prompts. In the image below, you can see the difference between the first and second generation of Firefly Image.

Adobe has also unveiled a new feature called “Generative Match” that can match the style of the created image with the desired image of users. For these styles, you can either use Adobe’s ready-made images or upload your desired photo to this service. It should be noted that in the metadata of images created with Adobe artificial intelligence, a label is automatically used so that they can be identified.

The Firefly Image 2 artificial intelligence model is available to users in beta form and on the web from today, and to use it, you must refer to this link. In the near future, this model will be added to the Creative Cloud apps, so at the moment this tool is not present in any version of Photoshop and we still have to wait.

Adobe also unveiled the new Firefly Vector model for Illustrator, which it says is the world’s first generative AI model for vector graphics. This tool allows users to create editable vector images using text commands.

Finally, Adobe has unveiled Firefly Design for Adobe Express, which creates customizable templates using text commands. All these models are available to users in beta form, but their final version is likely to arrive soon.
