According to a Reuters report and quoted by research firm Similarweb, the number of visits to the ChatGPT website via desktop and mobile in August 2023 decreased by 3.2 percent to 1.43 billion. In addition to the number of visits, the duration of visits to the JPT chat website has also decreased since March, from an average of 8.7 minutes to 7 minutes in August.

Despite the decrease in website traffic of this popular chatbot, the number of unique visitors worldwide increased from 180 million to 180.5 million.
