As promised, Poco unveiled the Poco M6 Pro. This phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 4 generation 2 chip and is offered in two combinations of 4.64 GB and 6.128 GB memory. There is also a microSD slot to increase the internal memory up to 1 TB.
The new Poco phone runs the Android 13 operating system alongside the MIUI 14 user interface and is supposed to receive two major Android upgrades and three years of security updates.
The Poco M6 Pro has a 6.79-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution, and supports a maximum brightness of 550 nits and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. Corning’s Gorilla Glass coating is also used on its screen, but Poco has not mentioned the type of coating.
There is an 8-megapixel selfie camera inside the central punch hole above the display of this phone, and a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera are installed on the back panel. On the other hand, its power source is a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging technology.
Other features of the Poco M6 Pro include 5G connectivity, an IR blaster, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. This phone also supports the IP53 standard. It should be noted that Poco M6 Pro is the renamed version of Redmi 12 5G which was recently introduced in India.
The Poco M6 Pro will be available on Flipkart from August 9, and the price of the 4.64 GB version is $135 and the price for the 6.128 GB version is $160.
