After a relatively quiet start to 2026, things are about to get busy in the world of Apple. According to the latest Bloomberg report, Apple will launch a series of new products in the coming weeks. Here’s what to expect.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gorman, Apple plans to introduce several Macs and Mac-related equipment “over the next few weeks”:
- New budget MacBook with A18 Pro chip
- New MacBook Pro M5 Pro and M5 Max models
- New Mac displays
The new budget MacBook will reportedly have a slightly smaller display than 13 inches and come in a few different colors. The updates to the MacBook Pro M5 Pro and M5 Max follow the release of the base model M5 last fall. The MacBook Air M5 is expected to be a mere specification upgrade and no other changes. Finally, Apple is said to be working on at least one new external display for the Mac that will have a higher refresh rate and better image quality.
Gorman previously reported that Apple plans to introduce new MacBook Pros in the macOS 26.3 cycle, and product announcements “could start as early as the week of March 2.” He also emphasized today that Apple is “preparing for an event that month.”
In addition to these Mac-related products, Apple will introduce several other products in the near future. The iPhone 17e is coming soon, as well as a new entry-level iPad and the iPad Air M4.
