Apple’s changes have caused iPhone users to switch from Google Maps to Apple Maps again

For a long time, iPhone users used Google Maps instead of Apple Maps. But now the Wall Street Journal has reported that the situation of Apple Maps is getting better and iPhone users are satisfied with Apple’s changes in this application.

While Apple Maps is the default iPhone and iPad application, after the release of iOS 6, this application underwent changes and found many bugs, including wrong labels for different places. This caused Apple CEO Tim Cook to apologize.

But now Apple Maps has improved and this has made iPhone users to stick with it instead of switching to Google Maps. These improvements include attractive design, clear public transit routes, faster routes, and better management of subway unavailability times.

According to today’s report, most iPhone users preferred to download Google Maps as an alternative to Apple Maps, but the deeper integration of Apple Maps with iOS and its improvements have made users have no reason to download Google Maps.

However, Apple still has a lot of work to do and to compete with Google Maps, it needs to provide users with better features, including while driving.
