Xiaomi introduced the Ryzen version of the Redmi Book 15 Pro laptop

Xiaomi unveiled its new laptop named Redmi Book 15 Pro Ryzen Edition, which is equipped with AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor.

Previously, the Xiaomi Redmi Book Pro 15 laptop was introduced with Ryzen 6000 AMD and 12th generation Intel processors, but now a new version of it has been presented with a new generation of AMD processors. The processor of this laptop is AMD’s Ryzen 7 7840HS, which will be available to global customers.

In terms of specifications, this processor has 8 cores and 16 processing threads based on Zen 4 architecture with 8 MB of L2 cache and 16 MB of L3 cache and a clock speed of up to 5.1 GHz. This processor has a thermal power between 35 and 54 watts and uses iGPU Radeon 780M RDNA 3 graphics, which has 12 computing units with a frequency of 2700 MHz. This chip also has AMD’s Ryzen AI capabilities.

The Ryzen Edition Redmi Book 15 Pro laptop has a CNC aluminum frame with a slim design. Its display is a 15-inch panel with a resolution of 3.2K and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and its brightness reaches up to 500 nits. Overall, the design of the Ryzen version is similar to the 2022 model, with a decent number of USB ports and other wired/wireless technologies.

Xiaomi hasn’t announced the price yet, but it looks like the laptop will likely cost around $700. This laptop will be released on July 19.
