Tesla today unveiled the first Cybertruck produced at the Gigafactory in Austin, Texas. The company posted a picture of its all-electric car on Twitter, surrounded by production personnel.
The production of Cybertruck was delayed for about two years and now its buyers are impatiently waiting for this car to enter the market. Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently said that he will launch the Cybertruck at a special event that will probably be held in September. Tesla has not yet announced an exact time for the event.
Tesla previously said that mass production of the Cybertruck would not begin until 2024. The company unveiled the Cybertruck in 2019 and was supposed to start mass production in late 2021, but that date has been pushed back several times.
Tesla has received more than 1 million pre-orders for the Cybertruck, with customers paying $100 for it. Pricing information for the Cybertruck was removed from Tesla’s website in late 2021, but at the time there were three versions priced between $3,9900 and $6,9900. However, the price of the final versions is expected to be more expensive.
