At the Computex 2023 exhibition, Acer showed its interest in the production of Nvidia and AMD graphics cards, and now it has taken the first step in this direction with the Predator BiFrost RX 7600 graphics card.
The Predator BiFrost Radeon RX 7600 card uses the same BiFrost cooling as the Intel Arc A770 card. This is a fan-type cooler that consists of a vapor chamber to transfer heat to the heat sink, and then two fans are used to dissipate heat. Since the Arc A770 was a 225-watt graphics card, the said cooling system is expected to respond to the RX 7600 with 60 watts less thermal power.
Asus has released two versions of this card in Taiwan, including the regular Predator BiFrost Radeon RX 7600 and the Predator BiFrost Radeon RX 7600 OC. The standard version has a clock speed of 2250 MHz, a boost speed of 2655 MHz, and a thermal power of 170 watts, and its price is $274. The OC version has a clock speed of 2320 MHz, a boost speed of 2725 MHz, and a power of 180 watts, and is priced at $290. Both versions use an eight-pin PCIe connector and an HDMI 2.1 video output and three DisplayPort 1.4 ports.
Overall, the Predator BiFrost RX 7600 looks like a great graphics card, and considering its dimensions, it might not be suitable for smaller cases, but if you have enough space, it could be a good option. Therefore, it can be considered one of the best cheap graphics cards in the market.
The card isn’t currently available outside of Taiwan, but Acer may have plans for a global release.
