Sony has a very cautious approach to designing its smartphone, and for years its devices look almost the same. But this situation may be transformed soon; Because the company is likely to review the design of its future mid -range handset, the Xperia 10 VII.
According to information released by a frame manufacturer in Amazon, Japan, the Xperia -Mark Seven is seen with a new look. Although these changes are not fundamental, Sony will probably change the arrangement of the cameras on the back of the phone. Instead of a vertical dual camera set, the Xperia 10 VII may use a horizontal camera layout.
Although this change may not seem radical, it can be an important step for Sony, especially given that the previous five generations of Xperia are difficult to distinguish. However, given that the Xperia was the main Sony’s last device with horizontal cameras, this change could be considered a return to the roots of the series.

Sony fans who are concerned about these changes can be comfortable because in the released images, the front of the device seems unchanged. This is not surprising, as most smartphones are almost the same from the front view, except that their screen margins are thinner. The same applies to the iPhone 5, the Galaxy S4 and Pixel 2 phones, with the front look similar to their previous generations.
A little information is available on the Sony Xperia ۱ VII. It delays compared to the usual release time, as its previous model was released in June last year. So far, there is only one report from the database indicating that the unveiling of the device may be carried out in October.
We are happy that Sony has not stopped selling smartphones after being forced to stop selling the Xperia ۱ VII. However, we do not know whether such partial redesign can help the company overcome its problems, but it is exciting for us to see Sony at least part of its past glory.
