After the widespread delay in the release of the One UI 7, Samsung decided to abandon the One UI 7.1 and One UI 7.1.1 updates and go directly to the One UI 8. Samsung seemed to be to offset the failure of the One UI 7, but it was actually the company’s new strategy for the One UI. Over the past few years, each new Galaxy S series was released early in the year with the new version of Android and the user interface.
The Galaxy Galaxy Zed folding phones were usually released in mid -year with the One UI X.1.1 update, which brought some new features and optimization. This year, the Galaxy Zed Flip, the Galaxy Zed FE 2 and the Galaxy Zed Fold 2 were Samsung’s first handsets to be released with Android 2 and the One UI 8 interface. According to a well -known disclosure, new Korean folders will be released in mid -year with the latest version of Android and One UI interface, while the Galaxy S series models will be equipped with the one UI.
However, this does not mean that the Samsung S series is an exception. While the Galaxy Z series handsets will be released with new versions of Android and One UI, reports show that only some of the new features and optimizations related to folding phones. However, the Galaxy S series, as part of the One UI X.5, will get many new features. Accordingly, these devices will still be superior to folding models in terms of software features and design changes.
Samsung will release the original One UI versions in mid -year with its folding phones in order to co -release the new version of Android by Google. Six months later, the company releases many new features as part of the One UI X.5 update and makes it available to users of the Galaxy S series.
