Samsung will introduce Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 on August 4

Samsung has finally announced the date of its second Unpacked event to introduce its latest foldable phones. This event will be held on August 4 (July 26) where we will see the unveiling of Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in Seoul, South Korea.

Samsung has held some Unpacked events in South Korea before, but never for its foldable phones. Samsung says it chose Seoul because “it is a place where traditional culture and forward-thinking visions meet to inspire global trends.”

In addition to the Samsung website, this event will also be broadcast on the company’s YouTube channel. And that time will be 7:00 a.m. ET. The interesting thing is that the Unpacked event invitation is named “Join the Flip Side”. Although both the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 are expected to be announced at the event, Samsung seems to be focusing on the flip model.

Samsung has also made it possible to reserve its upcoming Galaxy devices. The company will give $50 credit to those who reserve a device between July 5 and 25. Buyers can register for this reservation with their name and email address.

In addition to Samsung’s foldable phones, it is expected to see the unveiling of the Galaxy Tab S9 series and the Galaxy Watch 6 series at the Unpacked event.
