The supercars are expensive and often limited to one propulsion option and one body type and have very little flexibility for complete customization. Unless you would like to pay an enormous amount to a company like Ferrari or Lamborghini. But a British engineering company plans to make the process a little easier.
A company called Dash Bespoke, a spin -off from Dash Engineering Company with a background in car racing, will create a custom supercar from the base. Using its TR01 carbon fiber fiber chassis, which was unveiled in year 6, buyers can choose from different types of propulsion, custom body styles, interior space and more.
Dash points out that the TR01 platform is lightweight, strong and fully in accordance with Euro NCAP standards. The platform works alike with V-8 batteries and engines, and customers can turn it into a road supercar, hypercar or a custom racing car.
The first supercar made for the customer based on the TR01 platform will be unveiled late this summer at the Goodwood Speed Festival. The car, called the Slip Stream, will have a mid-Middle V-8 engine built by Hartley in New Zealand (the company responsible for the Nilu27 engine), along with custom carbon fiber subfamings, light alloy suspension, and nitron hydraulic hydraulic assistance.
“It is a huge project to score a custom performance or low production volume,” says Robotan, CEO of Dash. Whether a motorsport project for a main carmaker or a special hypercar, the challenges of engineering, construction and assembly and related risks are high. For many brands and experts, these obstacles can stop the project’s progress. That’s why we have founded the base of the base. “
Dash does not precisely determine how much your dream custom supercar will cost. We can’t imagine it’s cheap. But given the existing platform and Dash engineering expertise, it will still be a much more affordable option than to go to Ferrari. It is also much more customizable.
