Instead of Magic V4, Ann introduces the Magic V5 folding directly

According to reports, Ann will probably hold a unveiling ceremony in China in June. At the event, a vertical design with a vertical design that will probably be released under the name of the Magic V2 Flip will be introduced alongside a folding folding phone. The second handset is unveiled as a serious competitor to the Oppo Find N5 released in China in February. Just as Oppo ignored Find N4 and released the Find N3 successor, Find N5, it seems that Ann has decided to ignore the name of the Magic V4.

Last year, Ann introduced its folding handsets with its book design, Magic V3 and Magic VS3, respectively, with powerful Snapdragon 2 and 5th generation 2 and 2 generations, respectively. This year, speculation suggests that the company will only introduce the Magic V3’s successor and will not be available on the VS3. Recently, a technology activist has revealed that Ann will go directly to the Magic V5 instead of using the expected Magic V4 name.

This is apparently a common practice among Chinese smartphone makers. In this country, it is often refused to use this number because of the belief in Tetrafobia who considers the number four. For example, Huawei took a similar approach last year by introducing the Mate X5 and ignoring the Mate X4.

The Magic V5 is expected to be officially launched around the third or fourth week of June. Lee Kahn, a manager of Ann, said the folding handset would be less thick than its previous generation, Magic V3. Its thickness will probably be approaching or even surpassing the Find N5. Currently, Find N5 has the title of the thinnest folding phone with a book design.

The Magic V5 folding handset will appear to be equipped with a 5.5 -inch LTPO OLED external display at a rate of 1 Hz and a 2K resolution of 2K and 2 Hz. While the Find N5 uses the Snapdragon 2 Elite chip with 2 cores, the Magic V5 is expected to use the 2 -core version of the chip.

The camera system is reportedly using a 2 -megapixel main sensor and a powerful 4 -megapixel telephoto lens. Other features such as wireless charging, satellite connection, IPX8 standard for water penetration resistance and a fingerprint sensor will also be seen. With these features, the Magic V5 will become a serious competitor for the top folding phones of the year.
