New images of the flagship motherboard ROG Crosshair X870E Extreme Asus have been released, which reflects its powerful and advanced features. Asus was expected to finally introduce this top motherboard. The company had previously launched the APEX and HERO models from the X870E series, but now the Extreme model is the fastest member of the family.
The ROG Crosshair X870E Extreme Asus designed with E-ATX and all-black color with delicate silver details, stylish and modern. This motherboard, with powerful nutrition system and numerous VRMs, offers a unique function and is fed through two EPS 2 -pin connectors. Also, four DDR5 DIMM slots support up to 1GB of memory and high clock speed, providing fast upgrades and performance. In addition, a DIMM.2 slot is next to the memory slot that supports AIC with two M.2 slots.
The ASUS motherboard has remarkable development features, including two high -speed PCIE 5.0 x16 slots and at least three to four M.2 slots for installing SSD memory. The first slot is designed with a bulky cooling consisting of heatsink and heat pipes that are easily separated. Other M.2 slots are also under an integrated cooling coating that extends to the PCH chipset. Also, the large ROG logo and the extreme badge are clearly visible.

In addition, the VRM modules are also covered with large heatsinks and the thermal pipe cooling system. It seems that the active cooling system has been used under these heatsinks. The IO cover is equipped with a large LCD display that allows customization. On the back of the motherboard, there are overclock options and advanced settings with Debug LED, FlexKey button, on/off button, and a set of connectors. The front panel USB connections include 20G, 10G ports and two 5G ports. Also, different types of switches and buttons are visible at the bottom of the motherboard.

The Asus ROG Crosshair X870E Extreme is provided with a large back plate. The input/output options of the back panel include: HD 7.1 channel sound output, WiFi 7 ports, LAN 10GBE and 5GBE ports, four USB Type-C ports (including two 10G ports and two 40G ports), types of USB Type-A ports, HDMI and BIOS and Clear Clear buttons. No information has been released yet, but given the current prices of the X870E motherboards, it can be expected that the ROG X870E Crosshair Extreme would be very high (more than $ 5).
