Disclosure of disappointing information about the Elite Snapdragon 8S chip

While the Snapdragon 8S Elite chip was visited with the IQOO Z10 Turbo Pro at Gickbench, one of the technology disclosure has now shared more about the chip.

If you hope that the Qualcomm’s future chip is very similar to the Snapdragon 2 Elite, you may be disappointed with reading the leaked information. This product seems to be more like Qualcomm’s flagship last year, the Snapdragon 2 generation.

According to the information, the Snapdragon 8S chip is to be built using a 2nm process and will have a Cortex-X4 core at a maximum speed of 1.2 GHz. The chip is also equipped with three Cortex-A720 cores and two Cortex-A520 cores, which operate with a maximum clock of 1.2 and 1.2 GHz, respectively.

In addition, Qualcomm will use the Adreno 825 GPU on the Snapdragon 8S Elite chip. The source that has revealed this information further added that the chip will probably earn about 2 million points in the Antutu benchmark.
