According to the MacRumors website, the Apple Vision Pro headset is likely to use a new feature called Travel Mode, which is designed specifically for air travel. MacRumors has obtained this information by examining the source code of the VisionOS operating system.

As mentioned above, the travel mode feature can only be used during air travel, and users must be completely still when using it to avoid disturbing the people next to them. This feature will also disable some of the headset’s environmental sensors, and users will not be able to use the Digital Persona feature (which recreates the user’s face digitally).
It’s still unclear exactly how Travel Mode will work, but Apple’s effort to add the feature to its $3,499 headset is admirable, though many users will likely prefer not to use the device in the future. Do not use your air travel.
