Larry Ellison passed Jeff Bezos to become the third richest person in the world

According to the report of the Forbes website, Larry Ellison, the founder of Oracle, has become the third richest person in the world, following the unprecedented growth of the company’s value, passing Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon.

Forbes first introduced Larry Ellison as a billionaire in 1993 and estimated his total assets at $1.6 billion. Ellison founded Oracle 46 years ago and served as its CEO for 37 years until 2017, but is still the company’s largest shareholder and chairman. Currently, the value of Larry Ellison’s real estate reaches more than 1 billion dollars, among which one can mention an island in Hawaii that he bought in 2012 for 300 million dollars.
