Google plans to release Android 15 for Pixel phones by mid-October.
The Pixel 9 series phones hit the market with Android 14 a few weeks ago, and recently the question has been on everyone’s mind as to when Android 15 will be released for these phones. According to a new leaked rumor, Google will release Android 15 in mid-October only for its Pixels.
The news of the release of Android 15 in October has been published while Google will release the Android 15 source code next week. Traditionally, the source release day coincides with the launch of Pixel phones, but recently this tradition has been broken, with the Pixel team regularly delaying the release of updates until they are completely ready.
This will give developers enough time to finalize the marketing of Pixel Drops, test the changes made, and fix bugs. Last year, the Pixel was delayed despite its original timeline, and it looks set to happen again.
The same source claims that the Android 15 update for Pixels has been stopped in order to improve its stability. Users hope that the developers can solve this problem and release it by mid-October.
