The recently announced Pixel 9 Pro XL flagship runs Genshin Impact less well than the Pixel 7 Pro.
According to a video published by a YouTuber called Dame Tech, the performance of the Pixel 9 Pro XL in playing Genshin Impact is worse than the Pixel 7 Pro two years ago.
This phone, which is equipped with the Tensor G4 chip, ran Genshin Impact at an average rate of 39.2 frames per second, while the Pixel 7 Pro ran the game at an average rate of 45.3 frames per second.
The more interesting thing is that the Pixel 9 Pro XL was only able to run the game in the highest graphics settings for 9 minutes, which is really disappointing for a 2024 flagship phone.
The G4’s tensor chip seems to heat up too quickly and can’t perform well under pressure. However, if you plan to buy this phone in the future, be a little cautious.
