Samsung is gearing up to unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 6, and now renders have been leaked that show us its design.
As you can see, the design of this phone is very similar to the previous generation and it seems that the internal display will be the same 6.7 inch panel and the external display will be 3.4 inches like the previous model.
On the other hand, the dimensions of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 in the fully open state will be 165 x 71.7 x 7.4 mm, which is thicker than the previous generation with a thickness of 6.9 mm. Of course, maybe this greater thickness means a bigger battery or internal improvements.
It is said that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 battery will have a capacity of 4,000 mAh, which is more than the 3,700 mAh battery of the Galaxy Z Flip 5. If the previous rumors are true, this phone will probably be equipped with Snapdragon 8 generation 3 chip with Galaxy AI artificial intelligence capabilities.
Last year, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 was introduced with two major improvements, which were the flex hinge and the flex window. These two improvements would fix the problems of the Galaxy Z Flip 4, which included a large gap when the phone is closed and a small cover display.
The flex hinge allows the Galaxy Z Flip 5 to close completely. This hinge has also made the phone thinner, the thickest part of which is now 15.1mm, which is 2mm less than the previous model.
This phone is made with Aluminum Armor and uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on its screen and back panel. Its body has the IPX8 standard, which can last up to 1 meter of water for half an hour. The flex hinge also has a dual rail structure that will absorb shocks.
The cover display of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, which is called the Flex window, is 3.78 times larger than the cover display of the Galaxy Z Flip 4. The size of this display allows the user to have a better interaction with widgets and also to respond to messages. The display also doubles as a viewfinder so you can take selfies with the rear cameras. This display has a diameter of 3.4 inches, a resolution of 720 x 748 pixels (306ppi) and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
Galaxy Z Flip 5 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 generation 2 chip and uses 8 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of internal memory. The camera system of this phone has not changed compared to the previous model and consists of a 12-megapixel main camera (1.76-inch sensor with 1.8 micrometer pixels, Dual Pixel AF, f/1.8 OIS lens) and an ultra-wide 12-megapixel camera. It uses megapixel (1.12 micrometer pixels with f/2.2 lens and 123 degree field of view). Its selfie camera is also a 10-megapixel sensor with an 85-degree lens (f/2.2, 1.22 µm pixels).
