Specifications of Xiaomi Mix Flip have been revealed

Xiaomi is preparing to introduce the foldable phone Mix Flip and now its specifications have been revealed.

According to information published by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, Xiaomi Mix Flip will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 generation 3 chip and will support satellite connection.

Also, its internal screen will be without creases and will not leave any marks in the middle of the screen. On the back panel of the Mix Flip, there will be a dual camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera and a telephoto camera.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix Flip has just received a certification in China that shows support for satellite connectivity.

The phone has been spotted in the MIIT database with the model number 2311BPN23C, which confirms its satellite communication technology. This technology has recently been introduced in some flagship phones. Of course, the MIIT confirmation does not reveal many details about the technical specifications of the Xiaomi Mix Flip.

Also, the renders of the Mix Flip show that there is a dual camera system on the back panel and a small screen under the camera module. On the front of the device, there will be a tall folding display with a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera.

Xiaomi will probably unveil the Mix Fold 4 phone next to the Mix Flip. According to today's information, the Mixfold 3 will weigh between 255 and 259 grams, but the Mixfold 4 will be relatively lighter.

According to the rumors, the Mix Flip will probably be introduced in late February, but the Mix Fold 4 may be released a little later, in the middle of 2024.

This August, Xiaomi introduced the Mix Fold 3 phone, which is equipped with an 8.02-inch AMOLED display with 2k resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Inside it, the Snapdragon 8 generation 2 chip is used, and its power source is a 4800 mAh battery with 67 W fast wired charging technology.

This battery will last 8 hours and 20 minutes on a single charge, which is 52% more than the previous model. This phone also has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 5x periscope telephoto camera and a 3.2x portrait camera on its back panel.

This phone is slimmer than its predecessor and its thickness is only 5.26 mm in the open state and 10.89 mm in the folded state.
