A Spanish store called PC Componentes has listed the release date and price of the MSI Claw handheld console.
This handheld console will be available from April 1 (April 13) with a base price of $699. This device is equipped with the latest Meteor Lake Intel processors.
PC Componentes store has announced the price of MSI Claw as follows:
- Core Ultra 7 155H + 16GB RAM + 1TB SSD: $799.99
- Core Ultra 7 155H + 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD: $749.99
- Core Ultra 5 135H + 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD: $699.99
Both the 512GB and 1TB options are currently open for pre-order and you can see their prices here.
The MSI Claw console uses a 7-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. This console is equipped with a 53 watt-hour battery and weighs 675 grams and measures 294 x 117 x 21.2 mm.
This console is available up to the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, which is a 28-watt chip with six performance cores, eight efficient cores and two low-consumption cores and an iGPU with 128 execution units and a frequency of 2.25 GHz. We've already seen the Core Ultra 7 155H perform well against the Ryzen 7 7840U and Radeon 780M in AAA games.
The MSI Claw console looks very similar to other handheld consoles on the market, especially the ASUS ROG Ally. But unlike its competitors, MSI has used an Intel processor instead of an AMD processor for the first time.
