Sony's mixed reality headset was introduced

Sony unveiled the Spatial XR mixed reality headset as a serious competitor to Apple's Vision Pro headset.

According to Sony, this headset is designed to produce spatial content such as making 3D models and is currently in the preview stage.

This headset uses the newly introduced Snapdragon XR2 Plus 2nd generation chip. This chip supports two 4K OLED displays and has the ability to track user movements.

Therefore, this headset is completely independent and does not need to be connected to a computer or phone. During the introduction of this headset, the CEO of Sony said that Spatial XR will bring an innovative interaction in the space of 3D design.

This headset has six cameras and sensors and has see-through capability. Therefore, this headset will be more useful for professionals compared to the PS VR2 headset, which is more for gamers.

In fact, it can be said that Sony's Spatial XR is more similar to Microsoft's HoloLens headset, which is designed for special and professional users.
