Google introduced Gemini artificial intelligence model. This model is offered in three different sizes Pro, Ultra and Nano.
A few months ago, Google announced that it had merged its two research teams, Brain Team and DeepMind, to create a new unit called Google DeepMind. The task of this unit was to develop Google's next-generation artificial intelligence model, Gemini, and now this company has introduced three different versions, two of which are available from today.
Google has said that it designed Gemini to be multifaceted, enabling it to perform advanced tasks.
Gemini artificial intelligence is offered in three different sizes to cover different needs. The most powerful version is called Gemini Ultra, which is designed for complex tasks. The next model is called Gemini Pro, which is designed to be used on a wide range of devices. The Gemini Nano version is also the most efficient model for doing work on the device.
Google claims that Gemini Ultra successfully passed 30 out of 32 academic benchmarks and even beat GPT-4 in all categories based on text queries.
According to Google, Gemini 1.0 AI is rolling out to various products starting today. One of them is the chatbot Bard, which will benefit from the Gemini Pro version. Also, the Pixel 8 Pro will use the Gemini Nano version.
Of course, the Gemini Ultra version is not going to be released soon, because it is currently undergoing reliability and safety checks. Google said that it will offer this version as a test for some customers and developers early next year.
