Neuralink finally accepts human trials of its brain chip

Neuralink finally plans to begin its first human trials, known as the PRIME study. This news could be a turning point in the field of brain-computer interfaces (BCIs).

Noralink company has successfully passed the animal tests of the said sensor. About Neuralink technology, we must say that this technology includes a very tiny chip that can increase the brain’s abilities by placing it in the human brain.

The said chip is placed in the patient’s brain by a specialized robot. Unlike Synchron’s Stentrode technology, which is performed without surgery, the Neuralink technology requires robotic surgery. This technology converts the brain’s electrical signals into digital commands and acts as an intermediary between the mind and the computer.

Elon Musk believes that the Neuralink brain chip is completely safe and will not pose a risk to patients. He even said that he was willing to put it inside his child’s brain.

In any case, we have to see how successful the human tests of this chip will be.
