Apple introduced the iPhone 15 Pro last night. This phone has a new side key called “Action key” for which users can set a specific function. The aforementioned key is similar to the one on the Apple Watch Ultra, which can be used to activate specific workouts and several other things.

Users can use the action key to access the cameras, flashlight, notes section, different focus modes, desired shortcuts or the magnifying glass mode of their phone. This key also switches the phone between vibrate and ring mode by default. After the release of the first version of the iPhone in 2007, the switch between vibration and ring mode was present in all Apple phones, but now it has been replaced by the action key. This key also uses tactile feedback technology.
Fortunately, the location of the action key is exactly like the vibration key of previous iPhone phones, and users can put the device on silent mode without having to look at the phone by pressing this key. Although the action key on the Apple Watch Ultra is large and recognizable and its color is different from the watch itself, this key on the iPhone 15 Pro is well integrated with the body of the phone and its color is the same as the color of the phone itself. The action key, next to the USB-C port, is one of the most important features of the iPhone 15 Pro.
