According to scientists, this color can reflect up to 80% of mid-infrared radiation, and it will also reflect up to ten times more than previously created colors.
Mid-infrared radiation creates heat and emits it from the sun. If the new paint is used on the outside of the building, it can direct the heat to the outside and keep the building cool. On the other hand, using it inside the building will preserve the internal heat.
The makers of the new paint say that this paint can be used all year round as a new solution for energy saving and can be used in all weather conditions and different regions.
According to published reports, the experimental use of this color in artificial heat conditions showed that approximately 21% less energy is needed to cool the closed space. Also, in the state of artificial cold, this color reduced the required energy by 36%.
