Recent research by researchers from the University of Copenhagen and the University of Roskilde shows that despite the technological advancement in the field of making new computers, still about 20% of them can be problematic for users.
According to Tekna technology and technology news service, a recent study by researchers says that if computer systems that are used by users are examined most of the time and by identifying their problems, more optimized systems with fewer problems can be marketed in the future. Many users have had the experience of spending a lot of time to fix the computer system problem during similar situations.
In this study, it was found that, on average, users spent about 11-20% of their time fixing their computer problems. Also, because of these problems, they have not been able to advance their work and have only wasted their time.
Professor Kesir Hornik, one of the researchers of this study, said about it: The obtained numbers are not very interesting. Because according to him, this statistic shows a high and unbelievable number. The continuation of these conditions causes frustration for users and it can be difficult for them to create problems. For example, imagine a user whose business meeting has started and he could not attend this meeting at that time.
Although computer systems increase the speed of doing things, they can involve users. Another researcher of this study, Professor Morten Herzom, has emphasized in this case that some frustrations are normal when doing tasks. But creating problems while doing very simple tasks with the computer can waste the time of many users.
