Blue Ghost, owned by Firefly Aerospace, has taken its first images of its distant target, the moon.
According to RCO News Agency, Texas -based Firefly Company has just released two images of the moon taken by a blue ghost from the Earth’s orbit. One of these images shows the natural satellite alone that a small gray dot is empty in the Black Sea and the other is a selfie that shows the moon on top of some parts of the gold ghost’s golden hardware.
According to Space, Firefly wrote in a post on the X -Social Network: While the blue ghost is in the Earth’s orbit, we will still be careful about our final destination! Toward the moon!
The blue ghost mission, which Firefly calls Ghost Riders in the Sky, is part of NASA’s CLP program. The agency conducted four scientific tests on the landing to collect data that will help Artemis returning astronauts to the moon in the next few years.
It looks like everything has gone so far for the blue ghost. According to Firefly, the landing in the circuit remained healthy and carried out two engine combustion as planned. Within about 2 days, the spacecraft will do its most important combustion of the engine, which puts it on the moon.
The trip will take about four days. The Blue Ghost will then spend 5 days in the moon’s orbit and then try to land in a large basin near the moon.
The solar blue ghost works for about two weeks at the moon and extinguishes a few hours after sunset.
Newly released photos of the month are not the first exciting images released by the Blue Ghost. This landing has also witnessed a solar eclipse and beautiful scenery of Our blue house Depicted.
It looks like another probe that goes to the moon on January 6th. According to the company, the Resilience probe has so far reached its milestone and prepares itself for a month flight that will take place around February 6.
The Resilience probe follows a longer and more winding path than the blue ghost. The Japanese landing will not reach the moon orbit for about four months after launch.
