SpaceX is waiting for a launch permit from the Federal Aviation Administration, and if the permit is issued for February, the Starship flight will probably take place next month.
According to Tekna technology and technology news service, SpaceX plans to launch its huge rocket named Starship for the third time in February. In the recent NASA conference, where the news of the Artemis program was also published, the vice president of SpaceX's customer department announced that the company will prepare the starship for launch this month. They also hope to receive launch permits in the coming weeks.
The SpaceX team is conducting the third test at the Bocachica site in Texas to prepare the Starship. Also, before that, the static test of the booster in the first stage and the heavy booster have also been completed. The company had previously announced the launch of the third Starship in December by Musk.
SpaceX expects the launch permit to be issued in February and the third test launch to be carried out in the same month. According to SpaceX, the purpose of the third Starshin mission was to demonstrate the improvement of engine performance so that it could reach Earth orbit. Also, the Starship flight system will be tested to transport cargo and crew to the moon.
