Nurses do not need to provide a bachelor’s degree if they meet the requirements.
The Ontario government is making changes to the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (OINP) to increase the workforce in the health care sector and skilled occupations in the in-demand occupations subgroup.
From July 1, 2024, the province of Ontario will introduce the process for nursing professionals under subcategories Human capital priorities Express Entry (Express Entry Human Capital Priorities) and French-speaking specialist workforce (French-Speaking Skilled Worker) has made it easier.
Currently, nurses are not required to provide a bachelor’s degree if they have the following conditions:
· If they are already registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in a general, advanced or provisional class.
· If they have an initial knock code that falls under one of the following occupations:
