Ontario’s new law for 1-year certificate students
Ontario colleges offer graduate certificate programs in more than 900 programs, most of which are one-year programs.
This is a good news for these international students who often find it impossible to get permanent residence and consider migrating to other provinces.
The provincial government is likely to approve the proposed changes as early as next week, with an implementation date early next year.
