Microsoft is apparently planning to equip its popular Paint app for Windows 11 users with artificial intelligence-based features that will allow it to create an image based on a user’s textual description.
In fact, with this new update, the Paint program provides users with a text message-based canvas with artificial intelligence.
According to Windows Central, the artificial intelligence feature of Microsoft’s Paint program will have the same technology as Bing’s Image Creator. This technology can create an image based on the user’s text description.
Microsoft Paint is updated with artificial intelligence technology
It is not yet clear exactly how artificial intelligence works in the Pint app. Perhaps by creating a new key in the toolbar, users will be able to enter their own text description and the artificial intelligence will create an image pint for them. But it’s still too early to tell how exactly this feature will work.
In addition to Paint, Microsoft is apparently planning to add AI tools to the Photos app, the Camera app, as well as the Snipping tool. For the Photos app, the update could include a new feature that allows users to identify people or objects in a photo.
As for the Snipping Tool and the Camera app, Microsoft may add Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to both. With this approach, it allows both programs to recognize text in photos and screenshots.
It’s unclear whether Microsoft will actually release any of these features; But considering the number of AI tools that the company has launched in the past year, it’s not too far-fetched to do so.
