Skoda introduced the 2024 facelift Scala hatchback and Comic crossover. These two cars have been updated in terms of design and cabin features.
Skoda, the Czech Republic-based carmaker, has officially introduced the facelifted version of the Comic crossover and the Scala hatchback after 4 years of their current generation. These two European cars, which are based on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB A0 platform, have now received updates in various areas, including exterior design, features, safety, etc.

Now, in the exterior of Skoda Scala and Comic Facelift, the headlights have a different shape, and the grille and bumper have also undergone changes. More specifically, the Scala’s headlights have a crystal finish, and the comic’s front end features narrow, two-part headlights. In addition, matrix LED lights are available as an option for these cars. In the rear area of these Skoda products, new bumpers and new graphics for lights can be seen.
The Monte Carlo trim even comes with gloss black elements on various parts of the body, LED headlights as standard, smoked glass and 18-inch Ursa alloy wheels. In addition, for the cabin of this trim, red details, fake carbon elements, sports seats, special designs for Monte Carlo and ambient lighting are considered.
In general, the cabins of Skoda Kamik and Scala have not experienced any changes in terms of the arrangement of components, but they have been upgraded from the point of view of facilities. These two Skoda brand cars are available as standard with an 8.25-inch central touch screen infotainment system and an 8-inch digital amp screen. Higher trims, however, get a 9.2-inch infotainment display and a 10.25-inch instrument panel known as the Virtual Cockpit.
Skoda says it has used more natural and recycled materials to build the body and cabin components of the Scala and Komik. This issue is especially important for European cars like these two cars. Also, in terms of safety, this crossover and hatchback have moved forward with 9 airbags and more advanced driver assistance features.
The 2024 Skoda Scala and Komik are equipped with evo2 versions of the TSI petrol engines, and no diesel or hybrid engines will be available for them. Meanwhile, Skoda hasn’t officially mentioned gas-powered versions of the G-Tec, leaving their existence in limbo at this point.
Skoda has considered 3 different engines for the Kamik and Scala cars, whose specifications you will read below. All these engines send power to all four wheels, regardless of which transmission they are connected to.
- 1.5-liter 3-cylinder TSI gasoline model with 94 horsepower and 5-speed manual transmission
- Mid-range 1-liter TSI model with 113 horsepower and 6-speed manual gearbox or 7-speed DSG
- High-end 1.5-liter 4-cylinder TSI model with 148 hp and 6-speed manual transmission or 7-speed DSG (as well as cylinder deactivation technology)
This car manufacturer based in the Czech Republic will market the 2024 Scala and Comic in 3 trims named Essence, Selection and Monte Carlo. It also offers 6 different layouts for the cabin along with different optional packages. Of course, the exact price and release time of these two cars are not known at the moment.
