Russia plans to build a Call of Duty competitor with a $124 million investme; An expensive project that can revolutionize the game industry of this coury.
Russia has officially taken the initial steps to build a Call of Duty competitor by allocating a budget of 124 million dollars, and is pursuing this project as one of the most ambitious plans in the game industry.
Russia’s Ministry of Digital Developme has announced that studios that propose a large-scale military shooter with an atmosphere similar to the Call of Duty series can receive extensive governme funding. These supports include direct budget allocation, tax exemptions and insurance inceives, without which it would be practically impossible to impleme such a project.

According to published information, Russian governme institutions are ready to allocate up to 10 billion rubles, equivale to about 124 million dollars, to the selected studio. This figure puts the project in the category of the most expensive productions in the history of Russian video games, and it aims to make a AAA military shooter.


The Ministry of Digital Developme has emphasized that applications will be reviewed through competitive and official mechanisms, and only projects that have the same scale and quality as iernational works will be eligible. Russian Iernet Developme Institute also plays a key role in providing and managing this budget.
