This bootcamp, which was held with the aim of developing business models, training entrepreneurial force, networking, developing service platforms, etc., started with the presentation of Dr. Mehdi Mohammadi, the secretary of the digital economy staff of the vice president’s science and technology office, about monitoring the startup ecosystem. In this section, the common work areas in startups and especially, the classification of startups in the field of artificial intelligence were stated; Some problems of the startup ecosystem were also mentioned.
Next, Dr. Mohammad Sadegh Bijandi, Vice President of Academic Jihad, gave a speech and while pointing out some of the problems of the startup ecosystem, he called for the need to follow foreign startups and localize their ideas.
The next part of the program was dedicated to Dr. Khaliq Razavi, one of the founders of Hemtek. He pointed out how to accelerate a problem, different services in the field of AI and their goals; They also presented some examples of artificial intelligence services and their application in today’s world.
After the presentations of this section, a meeting was held with the presence of several members of the board of directors of Hemtek and members of academic jihad. The talks were about the current capabilities of artificial intelligence in Iran, the strengths and weaknesses, and the approach of leading organizations and institutions in this field; Also, in this section, the challenges raised in the boot camp were explained so that the participants could raise their questions about these challenges.
Six challenges were raised in this event, the topics of which are:
- Automatic authentication
- GPU sharing platform design
- Control SMS and prevent receiving promotional SMS
- Design of product price forecasting system
- Determining the content of ads and analyzing them quickly
- Evaluation of drug prescription through artificial intelligence
In the next part of the program, a team building workshop was held with the presentation of Dr. Ammar Jalali Menesh. In this section, the definition of teamwork and its requirements, false ideas about team building, the dynamic factors of teamwork and the characteristics of a successful team were expressed by Dr. Jalali Manesh.
In the final part of the first day, the initial ideas to solve the challenges were expressed and the participants started team building around these ideas.
The second day of the artificial intelligence bootcamp started with Dr. Kiani’s speech and talked about blood pressure and its measurement methods, as well as the data that can be obtained by checking blood pressure. Next, engineer Mehdi Akhwanpour spoke about artificial intelligence and deep learning by giving practical examples, and then Mr. Alireza Nouryan gave a speech. Next, a video by Dr. Ali Habibnia, a deep learning expert, was shown, which focused on artificial intelligence technologies and non-linear systems. The last presentation of the second day was accompanied by Dr. Jalalimanesh’s talk about team building and its processes.
In the final part of the second day of the event, which was considered the most important part of the artificial intelligence boot camp, the teams started their teamwork based on the team building that was done on the first day, and with the guidance of the mentors, they started working on their business model in an open space. At the end, after six hours, the mentors evaluated the plans based on the factors that were determined before the start of the boot camp.
It should be noted that the deadline for the initial presentation of the plans is on July 31 and in absentia, and the closing of the boot camp will be held on August 24.
