Moments ago, a powerful earthquake in Kunar province in eastern Afghanistan shook, according to Mehr News Agency.

Reuters also reported that the earthquake was 3.5 on the Richter scale.

The casualties or damage caused by the earthquake have not yet been released. Victims of the recent earthquake in Afghanistan are still on the rise.

Afghan officials said today that the number of earthquakes in the country has reached 6,800. There are also 2,800 others injured.

An earthquake measuring 2 on the morning of August 6 (September 6) shook the provinces of Nangarhar and Kunar in eastern Afghanistan and turned the brick houses and narrow streets of the villages into a soil.
