Unveiling of 5 exquisite historical coins at the Astan Quds Museum

Soleimani, director of the museum group, said:

The historical coin of various Islamic times in the name of the Prophet (PBUH) will be unveiled for the first time in the week of unity.

He said about the unveiling of these coins.

At the same time as one thousand and 5th year of the Prophet (peace be upon him) on Sunday, September 9th, at 9 am, the unveiling ceremony of four coins of various historical periods, named Mubarak of the Prophet (PBUH), will be held at the Martyr Zahedi building hall of the Mostazafan Foundation.

Soleimani, referring to the number of coins discovered, added:

These two coins represent the years of the blessed life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) from the Foundation’s historical coin treasury and will be exhibited at the Astan Quds Razavi Museum for two weeks after the unveiling ceremony.

He continued.

The oldest of these coins from the seventh century and the latest of them belong to the Qajar district. The historical distribution of the coins from the Abbasi, Samani, Akhabah, Talunian, Ghaznavi, Ghori, Seljuk, Ilkhani, Timurid, Safavid, Afshari and Qajar periods.

Soleimani said:

Their geographical scattering has also been in the subcontinent, Central Asia, Iran, Mesopotamia, Shamat and North Africa.

These valuable historical monuments include a number of the most prominent coins of “Dinar” (Golden) and “Silver” (Silver), which specifically the name of the blessed Prophet (PBUH), which is exhibited in this exhibition.
