In recent months, a large number of internal test versions have been revealed for several Galaxy phones that allowed Samsung’s software changes early. However, you should be ready to say goodbye to these revealed files.
Goodbye is close to the initial leaks of One UI 8.5 and One UI 9.0. Not long ago, a developer succeeded in finding a way to identify and receive developing files One UI interface that were intended only for Samsung internal tests. It was this way that previews of the One UI 8.0 for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 were released. But now, it can be certain that Samsung has fixed the vulnerability of its internal test server used to release software updates on Galaxy devices, including phones, tablets and smartwatches.
Therefore, unless another security breach is discovered on Samsung servers, it will no longer be possible to obtain internal test versions of the One UI interface. That is, the early versions of the One UI 8.5, which are likely to come with the Galaxy S26 series, are no longer downloadable. As a result, the new software features that the Korean company is developing for its current and future devices will not be visible yet.
However, you can still get official files released by Samsung; So the owners of Galaxy phones or tablets will be able to download the latest official versions of the operating system. In the meantime, Samsung will continue to make the beta versions of the One UI interface available so that users can experience and review new software capabilities before the final release. Prior to the official release of the Galaxy S26 series earlier this year, the Beta UI 8.5 beta program will start for the Galaxy S25 models.
