The CD Projekt Red has released a new cinematic trailer and a new gameplay video from The Witcher IV on the occasion of the State of Unreal 2025 event. This technical demo is run on the PlayStation 4 console at 60 frame rate and support for Ray-Tracting technology.
Witcher 2 is one of the several games in the world of Witcher that is currently under development. The game was officially introduced at the end of the year, and Ciri was introduced as the main character. There is not much information about the story of the game so far, we only know that its events take place after the third part of the series and are in the container. With the start of the Unreal FEST 2025 event, the CD Studio of the Red Red along with Epic Games appeared on stage to present a technical demo of the Wicher 2 game developed by the Unreal Engine 5 game. The usual CD -style technical demo follows the main character of the story, Siri in the middle of a monster hunting contract, and shows some of the innovative features and technologies of the Anriel Engin engine, which will be the core of the open -minded world.
This technical show takes place in an area called Kavir (Kovir); An area that first appears in the world of Wicher games. In the play, Siri, along with his horse Kelpie, crosses the rugged mountains and the dense forests of Kuwait, and reaches a crowded Valdrest city. Along the way, CDs of the Red Credit and Epic Games deeply explored how each technical feature helps improve performance, improved visual quality, and construction of the open and immersive world of Wicher. It should be noted, however, that this video is not the real gameplay, but only a demo. Therefore, the areas in which they are shown may not be in the final version of Witcher.

Since the strategic collaboration between CDs and Epic Games was announced in year 2, the two companies have jointly worked on the development of new tools and improved features in Anriel Engin 2 to expand the engine’s capabilities in the design of the open world and provide powerful tools. The new technical demo running on the PlayStation 2 at the frame rate of 60 shows the internal capabilities of the game engine in the world of Witcher 2; Including the new Animation Framework, Nanite Foliage vegetation rendering, the ability to quickly and fluently loading with the Fastgeo Streaming system, the Metahuman technology, and more such as MLDEFORMER technology, such as the movement of the muscles. These tools are developing and testing, and will eventually be released to all developers of Anryl Engin, which has just begun with the release of Henryl Engin.
In a statement, Michal Nowakowski, CDP Red, said in a statement:
We started collaborating with Epic Games to bring the technology of building open -world game to a higher level. The initial show we did today is an important turning point using the work we did using the Antrile Engine and at the 60 -point -to -PlayStation 4 frame rate and shows the excellent cooperation between our teams. But that’s not the end. I am eager to see further advances and more inspiring technologies in the continuation of Wicher’s development on Anriel Engin.
The team of TIM Sweeney, the founder and CEO of Epic Games, also added:
The CD Project Red is one of the best open -world game studios in the industry, and we are very grateful for collaborating with them to advance Henril Engin through the game of Wicher. They are an ideal partner to develop new capabilities of the game world that we can provide to all the developers of Anriel Engin.

Prior to this, developers had stated that they were very confident about the Witcher 2, and watching these videos can be understood by the reason for this confidence. The game world looks very beautiful, animations are of high quality, and it is clear that the CDs of the Red CD has a good use of the capabilities of Anriel Engin 2 to build an attractive world.
As the excitement surrounding Witcher 2 increases, the sales of the previous part are still growing. Last week, it was announced that the sales of Witcher 2 reached more than 5 million copies, while the game has experienced its tenth anniversary and has come close to Skyrim’s record. The game will be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox X/S Series and PCs. There has been no specific release date for the game yet.
