Following the release of the May 6 security update for the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung has just released a new and strange software update for the series.
You may imagine this update involves a new security patch for the family’s devices, but not. The Galaxy S25 still uses the same security update in May, meaning that this update may include numerous bugs and improvements in the device’s performance. Or maybe this is the background update for the One UI 8.0 version. This new software update with the S93XBXXU3aye7 version is being released for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The volume of this update for the Galaxy S25 Ultra is about 1.5 GB, but its volume may be slightly different for other models.
According to the usual routine, Samsung has only announced that this update includes bug modification, increased device stability, new and improved features, and improved overall performance. However, the Koreans did not specify exactly which parts of the phone’s software have improved. The official notes of the changes to this update are followed:
- Increase the stability of the device and modify the bugs
- New and/or improved features
- More improvements in performance
To maximize the capabilities of the device, it is recommended that you regularly check software updates. If you are a Galaxy S25 series owners (except for the S25 Model), go to Settings> Software Update> Download and Install to download this update (if available to you). After the download is complete, press the Install Now button to begin the installation process. After a few minutes, the phone will be automatically restarted.
