Openai, which iroduced productive artificial ielligence, transformed public awareness of the technology, now seems to be developing a completely new type of artificial ielligence devices.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Openai CEO Sam Altman told its staff on Wednesday that the company’s next large product would not be a wearable device. Instead, this device is a compact, screen -free device that will be fully aware of the user’s surroundings. According to Altman, the device is so small that it is placed on the table or in the pocket. He described it as the third most importa device alongside the MacBook Pro and the iPhone, and also referred to it as artificial ielligence that iegrates with everyday human life.

The preview was followed by an announceme by OpenAI to buy a fledgling IO company last year by former Apple designer Johnny Io, with a $ 1.5 billion stock trading. IO is set to play a key role in creativity and design in Openai. Altman has reportedly told employees that the purchase could eveually add $ 5 trillion to the company’s market value, as it creates a new category of devices that are differe from handheld devices, wearables or glasses offered by other companies.
Altman also told employees that preserving the confideiality would be crucial to preveing competitors from copying pre -supply. However, part of his remarks by the Wall Street Journal has been revealed, raising questions about his confidence in his team and his desire to disclose more.
