The NBC US network quoted an American official as saying that the war against Yemen has cost more than $ 1 billion since last March.

The source noted that thousands of bombs and missiles were consumed, and during the operation, seven drones were overthrown and two fighters were destroyed.

The US official said the government was clearly looking for a way out of the campaign.

He added: “It is difficult to evaluate the success of these attacks, because the UAVs sent to investigate the results of the attacks were overthrown by Yemenis.”
