A tremendous explosion occurred on May 5, at 9:50 pm, in the Shahid Rajaee port (Bandar Abbas), Iran’s largest container port, which killed at least nine people and more than 5 people were injured.
The incident caused extensive damage, and the blast wave crushed the windows of several kilometers around, a collapsed building and a thick orange-hero smoke, which led to the closure of schools and offices and an emergency declaration in Bandar Abbas.
President Massoud Medical ordered a comprehensive investigation, and the revolutionary leader also called for the possibility of “negligence or deliberate action”.
Hossein Kermanpour, director of public relations at the Ministry of Health, announced that using artificial intelligence technology, a system was launched to search for the injured. Families can be informed of the status of their loved ones by visiting the search section of the injured section. The names will be updated daily and will be more complete by receiving information from the hospitals of other institutions.
