XAI, owned by Ilan Musk, has taken a major step towards competing with ChatGPT and Jina by adding the “memory” feature to Grok. This feature allows Grak to remember the details of past conversations with users and provide more personalized answers.
This feature provides a more interactive and accurate experience by identifying the preferences of users who consistently use Grak.
According to the XAI, the Grak memory capability is quite transparent and users can see exactly what information is stored and delete if desired.
This feature is currently active on the Grok.com website and iOS and Android apps, but it is not yet available to EU and UK users.
Users can disable this feature or delete memory information from the chat interface through the data control section.
The XAI has announced that it also plans to extend the memory capability to the Grak experience on the X platform, which can improve users’ interactions on the social network.
While ChatGPT and Google’s Jina have already offered similar capabilities to personalize the answers, the addition of this feature to Grak reflects the XAI effort to reinforce its position in the competitive marketplace of artificial intelligence.
This progress can make Grak a more attractive option for users who are looking for a personal and transparent experience.
