Trump: I want Ukraine to be as far as possible

US President Donald Trump said after his first cabinet meeting on Wednesday evening, saying he wants Ukraine to reach the land as much as possible in any possible peace agreement with Russia.

Trump went on to say that Moscow should also give concessions, but the agreement should ultimately have the best possible result for each of the two sides if it is finalized.

Lavrov, referring to the referendum held in the five former Ukraine areas, said: “Some suggest the interaction line, but this is Russian, that is Ukrainian.” This does not happen because we have a constitution that reflects the will of the people.
