At CES 2025, Razer unveiled the Blade 16 laptop, which it calls the thinnest gaming laptop.
The CES 2025 exhibition has just officially started and during this time, big brands such as Samsung, LG and recently Razer have exposed their new products to the audience. Razer has unveiled the next generation gaming laptop called Blade 16. The company claims that this laptop is the thinnest gaming laptop.
According to Razer, the Blade 16 is 32 percent thinner than the 2024 model at 0.59 inches (equal to 1.5 cm). It is not clear whether the reduction in thickness will affect the battery life or not.
The Blade 16 keyboard has also undergone changes so that the displacement of the keys has increased by 50% to 1.5 mm. In addition, this laptop has a 16-inch OLED QHD+ display with a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response rate of 0.2 milliseconds. Razer has equipped its laptop with AMD Ryzen AI chip for the first time. This chip is able to support applications related to artificial intelligence. The price of the Blade 16 is not yet known, but considering that the previous model was launched with a base price of $2700, it is unlikely that this version will be released at a cheap price.
At CES, Razer also unveiled Project Ava, an artificial intelligence trainer for eSports. This tool is capable of providing real-time support and provides information based on the knowledge and wisdom of the gaming community. Gamers can access this tool while resting or while playing with their headset or while chatting on the Internet. This artificial intelligence tool will be available to users in the upcoming beta version.
In addition, Razer also introduced a series of gaming accessories. One of these devices is Monitor Stand Chroma, which costs $200. This stand is capable of supporting 20 kg and has a USB-C hub with 4 ports and supports 16.8 million colors for custom lighting. Although this display stand has attractive features, still the price of 200 dollars is considered expensive for this product. Iskur V2 X gaming chair is another Razer product that has the same features as Iskur V2. The base of this chair is bigger than the previous model and reaches more than 21 inches and is offered at a reasonable price of 300 dollars. Meanwhile, Iskur V2 was launched at a price of 650 dollars. Razer also unveiled the Project Arielle concept chair, which is equipped with heating and cooling systems.
